It has been in the family since late 19th century (late 1800's).
This chair was purchased new in late 1800's by direct descents of Anne Catherine and Jonas Green. (Historic Note: The Green house was built in 1738 and is a historic home in Annapolis, MD. The chair was in the parlor from late 1800's until the late 1950's-early 1960's).

Antique walnut lady's chair.
39 inches overall height of the chair. 27 inch high from seat to top of the back. 23 inch width from arm to arm. 19 inch width for the round part of back. 19 inch deep from the seat to back of chair. Wood arms are 12 inches long front to back. Top wood of the chair is 3 1/2 inches tall.
Low seat; wood seat frame is 12 inches from the floor but seat stuffing makes it sit higher.
Real wood carved with fruit, leaves, and branch design in walnut primary wood.
Tufted back and raised on cabriole legs.
Original small brass wheels.
Color of material: Dark yellow brocade upholstery.
